Boat Remix

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is ready for a new week, aka new start! This weekend I discovered more music and came across this song by Zoe Phillips. I love it! Very calming, upbeat, and head bobbing. I personally am a huge fan of listening to music everyone morning while I am getting ready for school to pump me up and put me in a delightful mood for the rest of the day! This morning I listened to this song while getting ready and I couldn’t help but keep replaying it. It gets me in a great, exciting, and happy mood. Ready to conquer dreadful school and be happy while doing it. I highly encourage you to go out to all different music websites when you have free time and expand your knowledge on music and be very open to listening and discovering new music. I promise you, you won’t be sorry!

The Fairy Dust

Ello bloggers! Happy Tuesday to you all. This past weekend my very dear friend Anna and I decided to go to the Santa Barbara Fair and Expo. Every year I tell myself that I will not go because every year I do not have fun and I believe it is a waste of money. So of course, I didnt listen to myself and I went anyways. We went to the fair knowing it was just us two all night. And we were completely okay with that! We love the presence of one other and didnt mind at all. Were like two peas in a pod 😉 (line stolen from Anna) The first ride we headed for was the ferris wheel. We decided that we had to get a picture of our view before it was too late. We went on just as the sun was going down and watched as the sky got darker and darker. The photo to the left is a photo I took when we were stopped on the very tippy top of the ferris wheel. I thought a picture of the whole fair would be beautiful and I was right! After getting off of the ferris wheel we ran into a few younger friends of ours and hung out with them for a little. After about an hour of being at the fair we got over it and just left and did some way funnier things 😉 But hey, I have no complaints about that night what so ever.

New and Improved Green Room

Good morning bloggers! Hope everyone had a wonderful week and is ready for a beautiful weekend! Recently the MAD academy has moved into our new location on campus and we couldn’t be more happy and excited. Although we all do dearly miss the old location. The MAD Academy is new and improved thanks to all the families who helped out and made this possible! We are extremely grateful. Above is a few photos of the new location I snapped during class today. The main entrance is breath taking and so are my neighbors 😉 Within the new location we have many new upgrades. For instance the green room! It is big enough to pull cars into to film and is extremely spacious! Dan the Man is doing big things and has a bright future ahead of him with this new location! I’m extremely lucky and grateful that I am apart of the academy and the MAD family and wouldn’t ask to spend my high school years any other way 🙂

I guess you could say I’m a lucky little cruiser. I live in a gorgeous city within a gorgeous state. I wouldn’t change anything about where I live. First moving to Santa Barbara I was little nervous moving to a new city not knowing anyone, but after a good 48 hours of living here I had a huge group of friends and everyone was so welcoming to me. When I first moved here I lived in a little cottage near the hospital, but that didn’t last for too long. My father and step mom went on a quest to find a perfect beach home to raise me in. Finally after weeks of searching they found our dream home. I currently live 5 minutes away from the beach with the view being my backyard. I wouldn’t change anything about where I live. I love it. Perfect location. Many kids growing up never really appreciated their homes they grow up in or especially they cities they live in. Us SB lokes have it good and we don’t really realize it.

A Legend

Hart Pitcher

The Homie Hart Pitcher

Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope your week is going great so far! This Wednesday is going to be a little different. Instead of blogging about a new work out routine I decided to blog about an Athlete of the Week. I myself am a huge sports fan and love all sports! Especially high school sports. One of my favorite sports to watch is in mid season right now at SBHS. Hart Pitcher #24 senior of the Boys Varsity Volleyball team is Athlete of the Week in my books. Last night was Senior Night at our last home game for this volleyball season and our boys dominated Buena High School. A high school located in Ventura, Ca. Throughout the season Hart has shown and proven to us that he is a davoted player and is never a disappointment. He is always a positive impact on the team and a great role model for the juniors and sophomores on the team. Sadly Hart will be leaving us soon in just a few short months for college. He will be dearly missed by the Don’s family and his teammates. I wish you the best of luck in college and the real world Hart and know you will do big things. Congratulations on this great season!

Little Cruisers

Hello everyone!! So tonight at Santa Barbara High School was kind of a sad night, but not really. It was Senior Night for the boys volleyball team. I am a huge supporter of the sports team at my high school and love attending games! Gotta have school spirit 😉 Before the game I went to my friends McCailey house who lives just up the street from the high school. Our friend Rosie got her license today so she picked us up with Sabina and Emily and we all mobbed to the game together. Great group of gals! Rosie’s brother is a senior on the team, Joe. (number 4) When we arrived to the game the girls showed me their little spot they discovered at the last home game that I wasn’t at. It was a great birds eye view of the game! Didn’t have to worry about bothering others with our cheers or sitting on the uncomfortable bleachers/benches we have in the gym. Our boys played Buena High School which is a high school in Ventura, Ca and all 3 of our teams won tonight. Very proud of them! Sadly tonight was the last home game of the season and last game in our gym since it is getting remodeled starting in May. We stay have a couple games left in the season though and I know the boys will dominate and be Channel Island League Champs! Good job tonight boys and good luck to all you seniors out there in the real world. You’ll be dearly missed!!

8Tracks

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday to you all. A brand new week to discover new music 😉 A few months back a friend of mine showed me 8tracks and I fell in love. If you didn’t already know I am a huge music lover and I love to discover new music and bands all the time! 8tracks is a wonderful website to discover new songs and bands! If you are familiar with the music website Pandora then 8tracks is right up your alley! 8tracks works by playlists. You can choose from a list of random words/moods or you can type in your own. You choose 2 words/moods then it will create playlists that go along with it and you can choose what interests you the most. It’s a great way to find out about new songs and bands!! I highly recommend it! Click here to check it out to all you music lovers 😉

Time To Rage

coachella 3coachella

This previous weekend was the first weekend of Coachella. I know I know I’ve been blogging a lot about Coachella, but what can I say. I was super excited about this music festival. As you may have read before, I grew up in La Quinta where the concert is taken place so I have many old friends that I couldn’t wait to meet up with at the festival to hang out with. I arrived to the desert Thursday night to beat the horrible traffic Friday. For the weekend I stayed at a family friends house who has a son my age. We’ve been biffles since diapers. Love that kid! Anyways! We all headed over to Coachella together and I met up with my best friend Madi and our friend Ellery from Malibu. We met up with some of our Palm Springs friends and just had a great time! As the weekend went on I saw more and more people who I havent seen in years and I was so excited to see them. Most of them being my brothers friends who are in college that I grew up with! Miss those guys! This years Coachella was an amazing time and experience and I wouldnt change one thing about it. I cannot wait to go next year and I’m already counting down the days 😉

Heart Skipped A Beat

Hello fellow bloggers! I’m back and ready to blog like crazy! This past weekend was Coachella as many of you know and I saw some amazing bands!! One band that really shocked me and caught my attention was The xx. I have loved their music for a while now and couldn’t wait to see them at Coachella. My friend Kanin and I were about 40 feet away from the stage off to the right. Amazing view! I was in shock to hear how amazing they were live. Way better then a studio recording forsure. After raging all day in the Sahara tent with techno music, The xx hit the spot with their mellow, yet still upbeat vibe. If you haven’t listened to The xx yet I highly highly recommend it! They never disappoint 🙂 To check out more of the band click here and scope them out 😉

Two Days

I promise I’ll be done soon! Last week my brother and I received our Coachella tickets and we couldn’t have a bigger smile on our faces. After years of growing up and watching my brothers go to Coachella this year is finally my year to go and party with them. Sadly we didn’t get our tickets on the website like everyone else. We bought them through a private seller on Craigslist. Personally I think that is the way to go. After trekking all the way to Isla Vista we met the seller and paid for the tickets and walked away. My brother was so excited that he made us sit in the car for 10 minutes in silent as he stared at the tickets and called all of his friends to let them know that he is for sure going. Although he has gone for the past 7 years. I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw the excitement in his eyes and how happy he still gets for Coachella every year. I leave Thursday night for the music festival. It starts Friday morning at 11:00 am. Gotta get my good night worth of sleep for raging all day and night!!
