Good evening bloggers. This past couple of weeks have been a huge success for my parents and their business and tonight we decided to finally celebrate! My step father and mum have created a meal replacement drink after my inspirational little sister Kate Madison. I will give you a little inside of her story right now so you understand 🙂
My sister Kate was born 6 years ago and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Through the past 6 years she has been a fighter and an inspiration to our family. Sadly since she has cerebral palsy and cannot eat on her own and can’t get all her nutrients she needs. The hospital subscribed her to Ensure which is meal replacement drink but is full of sugars and many things that are not healthy for you. By drinking this my sister lost all of her teeth due to rotting and did not get any healthier then before she started drinking it. Due to this incident my parents teamed up with one of their dear friends who is the founder and creator of ProBar and started to brain storm ideas of how my sister can get all of her proteins she needed. Finally they came up with a drink with 21 super foods. They started feeding this to my little sister and she was growing healthy and strong instantly. My parents also started drinking the creation and became 10x healthier and more energized plus my mum looks 5 years younger 😉 My step dad, Richard took this idea and started creating a business with it. My stepdad is known for being a huge dreamer and loves to dream big, but he always takes his ideas and makes something with them. Something I love dearly about him! He named the company “Kate Farms” after my little sister and the drink is named “Komplete.” This was 3 years ago and now today they are blowing up and are in stores across the country. Recently they have signed with Vitamin Shoppe and Patagonia. I couldn’t be more proud and happy for my parents. Thanks to my little sister my parents are going out to the world and changing lives for everyone. Kate Farms is not only for children with cerebral palsy, but is for any and everyone! It’s extremely healthy for you and makes you feel 10 years younger! You feel like you can accomplish anything on it. Komplete comes in 3 delicious flavors, Vanilla, Java, and Chocolate. Click here to order Komplete or check out more about Kate Farms!
Cheers to you mum and Rich for making a difference and showing anyone that a dream can really come true. Love you both so much!
Sup bloggers! After a long weekend I’m back and ready to blog. This past weekend was Memorial weekend as we all know. Thank you to all of you for risking your lives to make this country a better country. We all love and miss you dearly.
This past weekend was beautiful here in Santa Barbara and of course I took advantage of that and went to the beach every single day I could. On Saturday my good friend Mali and I headed down to our little spot. (Hope Ranch Beach) HR is a very exclusive beach and you need a gate key in order to go in. The reason I love this beach so much is that it is so clean and not crowded at all! You have the whole beach and water to yourself which is amazing! No silly tourists! I thought that I would bring out my fish board to have a little fun in the water. Why not right?! It was a great little day of waves and fun to mess around on board and get a great exercise while having fun.
Comment below and tell me what you did this Memorial weekend!
Morning there. I’m sorry I haven’t been blogging about work outs lately I just haven’t had time to go to the gym and try new ones. But over the weekend I came across this work out and tried it in my room and it’s a great work out! You don’t even need a gym 😉
First start off with an environment that you feel comfortable with and have plenty of space.
Then start with 30 seconds worth of bench jumps.
Move on to a 1 min plank.
Then do 30 seconds of side squats on bosu.
After do a 1 min side plank (left & right)
Now 30 sec sprints.
Now to 1 min sit ups.
Now repeat 😉
I promise you this will not disappoint you!! Enjoy and comment below and tell me how you liked it!!
Ayoo bloggers! Hope your Monday went by fast and good! Glad this week is moving fast. At least for me it is. Since yesterday I didnt blog about music, I will today 🙂 Over this weekend I sadly didn’t get much time to explore with music, but! I was looking through my music library and found this song and completely forgot about it! This song is a great remix by XX who is one of my favorite bands. They make any song just amazing 😉 This song is a remix/cover of the song “You’ve Got the Love” by Florence And The Machine. I love how upbeat and mellow this song is and always puts me in a great mood. Great choice to listen to before getting ready for school or a party! Puts you in a great mood! Take a chance with it please 😉
Comment below if you have any recommendations for me to listen to!
Morning bloggers! Hope everyone had a fun and relaxing weekend! This past Friday the academy I am apart of had a beach clean up to earn community service hours and to give back to the community and do a good deed. After school we were supposed to all head down the a local beach, Leadbetter. From there we met up with the whole academy and they assigned clean up teams and we went to work. My team was quite the team and we picked up 4 pounds worth of trash. Pretty good since we were only cleaning up for 30 minutes. The trash consisted of many cigarette buds and Styrofoam Now after spending an afternoon giving back to the community I realized that once in a while we should take time away from our busy schedules and help out the community and the Earth we live on 😉 Nothing worse then to live on a dirty planet. I highly recommend for you to get a group of your friends and go down to your city hall and and schedule a community clean up and help out. I promise you it will make a difference. Even if its for only 15 mins.
Good morning yall. As the final weeks of school come approaching and the finals come rolling in our media class decides to base our final project off of a website we have created from scratch. The website counts as a final for our multimedia class, English, and World History. We were assigned to create a website based off of an awareness we have created to show our skills we have learn from the past semester of web design and historical events. My partner, Jacob Greenspan and I decided to do our website on Gun Control. The images above our a sneak peak of our logo and the start of our home page. Everything is made from scratch and we are still progressing and can’t wait to see the final result! I’ll upload the link of our website when it is up and running.
Good evening bloggers! Tonight was a big night for the Santa Barbara Dons Boys Varsity Volleyball team. They had their semi finals game against Foothill high school. Sadly this game was the last home game for the Dons win or no win so it was very important for the students of SBHS to come out a support. This season has been a great season and the boys seem to never disappoint the high school. Tonight the boys won and are now off the the CIF finals!! Super exciting! This year’s team consists of 9 seniors and each one of them seem to always bring their all to the games. Channing Peake, Ryan Worley, Joe Rafferty, and Tristan Fauntleroy seem to always bring their A game and surely did not disappoint tonight at the game. Tristan is known for his unbelievable smack downs and Joe is known for being speedy and always there in time of need. The images to the left are of the team after their win running through a tunnel formed by this years seniors apart of the “Scream Team.” The other photos is a photo of Carl Mendoza and Hart Pitcher, both seniors, front page of the Sports section for the Santa Barbara News Press. Good job tonight boys and now off to the CIF finals this Saturday in Orange County. Do SBHS proud!
Sup bloggers. This week I’ve been staying up till 1 am every night to study for all my tests and completing my website that I mentioned in yesterdays post. Sadly the school year is coming to an end and all the seniors will be off all around the country and some even the world. But on the bright side next year I will be a junior (aka upper class men) and summer is here! So there is always a bright side to situations. Earlier today I rode my bike down to the local beach near my house called Hendry’s but as some surfers call it the “pit.” I have been dying to go in the ocean and to just have it be summer already. As the sun was going down I had a nice little 2 hour body surfing sesh at the Pit by myself and it was beautiful. The water is finally warm enough to not wear a wet suit! Sadly that was a little tease for summer 😦 So! If you live by the beach jump in the ocean. I promise its not a disappointment!
Good morning bloggers. Sorry I haven’t been blogging lately. I have been extremely busy with school and getting ready for the finals. In my MAD class we are creating our own websites for a awareness and that has been taking up all my blogging time. SO, my apologies! But for this weeks music I’ll be writing about my favorite band at the moment, City and Colour. City and Colour started their music journey in 2004 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada and have been striving ever since. City and Colour is the recording alias for Canadian singer/song writer Dallas Green. They are currently signed to: Dine Alone, Vagrant, Arts & Crafts Mexico. To see their tour dates and get to know them better check out their website here. Check out their music! I promise it will not be a disappointment!! They always get me in a hyped and happy mood, hopefully they do the same for you 😉
Happy Birthday to the most beautiful woman on earth. Another great year of your life to explore new things and make new memories. I am so thankful to have you has my mum and couldn’t ask for a better one. Even if I did have the opportunity to change 😉 I am so happy that you finally moved up to Santa Barbara and you are closer to me. I get to see your cute face everyday now, or should I say whenever I want. I am very grateful to have such a loving, passionate mum like you. You never give up on any of us kids and you fight till you win for us. I know I never say I love you enough, but I really do. You are my number one best friend and my biggest supporter and I try to return the favor to you. I love you Michelle Irene and wish you the best 27th birthday ever 😉 I know you will celebrate it the best way possible.
